Debrena Jackson Gandy has been described as "dynamic, engaging, energizing, powerful," and "transformational." Her keynote presentation topics focus on Debrena's personal mission to empower others to create the lives they desire and deserve.

A graduate of Pepperdine University, Ms. Gandy has been named Outstanding Young Woman of America in Who's Who Among Top Minority Executives and Who's Who Among Professional and Executive Women.

Debrena has authored two books, Sacred Pampering Principles (William Morrow & Co,) and All the Joy You Can Stand (Random House, June 2000). She also regularly appears in Essence magazine as a subject matter expert on spiritual living and inner renewal and as a contributing feature writer. She continues to appear frequently in publications such as Ebony, Today's Black Woman, New York Daily News, Tampa Tribune, Charlotte News & Observer, Atlanta Metro, and the Seattle Times . Her television appearances include numerous local TV shows as well as nationally with C-Span and CNN & Company.

This year, Ms. Gandy is the "Featured Opening Night Keynote Speaker" in all six cities of the African-American Women on Tour conference. She has also spoken for organizations such as the National Dental Association, Women of Wisdom Conference, National Forum of Black Public Administrators, Black Writers on Tour, Northwest Women's Law Center, African-American Wellness Conference.

As a consultant, trainer, and certified facilitator, her business clients include Boeing, Kinko's, Nordstrom, Puget Sound Energy, the United Way, Egghead Software, Century 21, City of Seattle, University of Washington, and Washington state agencies DOL, DOT, DSHS.
